Dogged persistence

5 valiant MTB riders took the short trip to Drumlanrig in search of dry trails tonight. Setting of from the car park we were aiming to do the red run. The first climb was a lung buster in the cold February air making everyone a little worried about what was to come, but the first piece of single track allayed all our fears, feeling like the dry hard parked trails of summer just a little colder. The ride was interrupted by a diversion due to fallen trees but even that couldn’t stop us having a fun packed ride with the tracks running fast. Thanks to all that came (including Jenny the dog) and made the ride entertaining. And all this on a week night too.

Jenny’s human has recently fessed up that owing to an oversight Jenny has not paid her 2012 membership fees. The Membership Secretary wishes to point out that this is fine as she has left a deposit.
