Eleven riders from Walkers CC battled the hills and potholes of the 5.75-mile Dundonald Hill-Corraith circular last week in the latest round of the club confined TT series, writes Alan Woodison.
With a few debutants among the line-up and some riders on unfamiliar terrain the timesheets, and the overall points table, were turned on their heads.
In the event, Scott Kerr on his home patch showed everyone a clean pair of wheels from Alan Gaskin.
Times: Scott Kerr 17:37, Alan Gaskin 17:49, Calum Ridout 18:08, Brian McCutcheon 19:02, Frazer Bell 19:08, Jim Goldie 19:16, Lorna Todd 19:24, Davie Robb 19:58, Harry McGarvie 20:00, Bill Gerrie 20:56, Cammy McGarvie 23:03.
At the halfway point Brian McCutcheon, Lorna Todd and Davie Robb are at the top of the table, split by the smallest of margins. Jim Goldie looks in the strongest position being a few points behind but with only two races to his name.
