Two members of Walkers Cycling Club headed to Stirling on Sunday for the popular 10-mile Corrieri Classic TT, named after the sponsors, a café in the town.

Run on the Kippen Flats, the exposed course can give competitors the added challenge of strong winds in both directions. An unusually warm and dry day for March, the two WCC riders thought they would have a tailwind in at least one direction – but that wasn’t to be. It was a slow day for most of the riders with Ian Anderson of Dunlop clocking a time of 22:48 and Frazer Bell of Kilmarnock finishing in 24.08, beating his previous course record by 36 seconds.
