Round Six – Darvel Mast climb

On an almost perfect night, the final event of the Walkers Cycling Club TT Series took place, climbing the Darvel Mast road from Priestland, nearly 2 miles with some very steep ramps.

David Baird put local knowledge to good use, storming up the hill to take the win, with Brian McCutcheon taking his best overall, and handicap placing of the series to take the win on Handicap.

David Baird’s 2nd place was enough for him to clinch the overall title by 7 points, with the injured Ian McAlindon a further 14 points behind.
A big thanks to John Walker and Rupert Vidion for performing timekeeping duties!
