Cyclists of all abilities are welcome to join Walkers Cycling Club. The club has active sections covering mountain biking, road riding, cyclocross, trekking and touring, and these meet regularly all year round. So, whether your type of cycling is a relaxing ride around the local roads, tracks and trails or the adrenalin rush of extreme downhill mountain biking or road racing, Walkers Cycling Club is the club for you.
We cater for members aged 12 and upwards. Junior road riders (12-16) are welcome to join the Thursday night road rides. Juniors aged 16-18 are also welcome to ride on club road rides but should be able to maintain the pace for the selected ride. Similarly, junior riders wishing to attend MTB rides should be able to cope with the demands of the routes.

But perhaps the greatest benefit is the camaraderie and mutual support that comes from being part of a group of like-minded individuals. We’re a friendly bunch and do all we can to help each other get the most out of our cycling.
